NORVELL HILLSIDE TENT WALLS AND MOUND COVERS
STRAIGHT WALL
Our straight side wall is made to shield one side of the tent from blowing rain, snow, wind, or glaring sun rays.
Its principal function is protection, although it also provides privacy. Straight walls cannot be converted to awnings.
WINDOW WALL
The window wall is designed to let light into a tent even though side walls are needed for weather protection. The 15’ wall contains 32
panels of transparent polyethylene, each panel approximately 10” x 12”.
The 20-foot wall contains 40 panels. With reasonable care, walls of this type have remained in good condition through five years of use, with only normal wear being in evidence.
WALL COMPLETE TO FORM AWNING
This wall serves
the purpose of protection but, in addition, it is made with rope sewn completely around its edges to reinforce all points of strain so that it can be pulled outward and upward to form an awning. Each wall, when extended,
adds 105 square feet of sheltered area to the tent.
NORTHERN STYLE WALL
Northern Style walls and mound covers are made with an extra foot of material on each end which laps around the corner post and fastens to the
outside of the connecting wall or mound cover.
SUN EXTENSION
The Sun Extension is made to fit the 15’ side of all Norvell tents. It is 8’ x 15’ and protects and additional 120 square feet with
dignity and beauty. Scalloped and bound with the same care as the valance of the tent. Unlike the awning wall (which has no valance), the frame of the Sun Extension is a continuation of the tent.
Two corner posts with hinged arms fasten to the tent and to themselves. Two lateral braces which run from the side rail of the tent to the outside rail of the Sun Extension support the canopy top. The Sun Extension is much stronger than the awning wall and more suited to winter weather. Walls for the Sun Extension can be up to 23’ long on 15’ x 15’ tents and 28’ long on 15’ x 20’ tents.
WIND WALLS
We offer K.C. Style Walls, made with heavy webbing across sides to give support in strong winds.
MOUND COVERS
These big, roomy mound covers are made in three stock styles. Each may be used on any side of either style 15’ x 15’ tent or on the ends of either style 15’ x 20’ tent. All covers are seven feet deep and fifteen feet long, the difference being in the back walls. (See below.) All Norvell mound covers are complete with guy lines spliced to the cover and steel stakes.
STRAIGHT STYLE
The straight, or regular style, mound cover is designed primarily to protect your flowers, grass, lowering device, etc. from exposure to sun
and rain. It has no back wall, but has more than ample space to take care of dirt, grass, and equipment.

BOX STYLE
The box mound cover is designed as an extension to the tent.
Due to the fact that the back wall is three feet high, it will accommodate two rows of chairs quite comfortably.
ALCOVE STYLE
The alcove mound cover is designed primarily as an addition to the tent to be used as a family room.
This addition, which can be attached in minutes, solves a pressing need for a larger tent. The addition of the alcove enlarges the tent by 105 square feet. Because the back wall is four and one-half feet high, it will accommodate three rows of chairs and will give protection from four sides with one piece of cloth.
